1993 U.S. Open Championship, Baltusrol Golf Club, June 14 to 20, 1993
This 225° panoramic photograph from Blakeway Publishing Company was taken by Mark Segal from a helicopter using a specially mounted panoramic camera. It features Baltusrol Golf Club with the New York skyline in the distance and was taken just prior to the start of the 1993 U.S. Open Championship Golf Tournament. Baltusrol Golf Club, located in Springfield, New Jersey, has been host to 14 USGA Championships including U.S. Open Championship Golf Tournaments in 1903, 1915, 1936, 1954, 1967 and 1980. Jack Nicklaus won both the 1967 and 1980 tournaments.

On the land once farmed by a man named Baltus Roll, lies one of the most historic golf courses in America! Opened in 1895, the club hosted the area's elite through the roaring '20s, survived the depression, and gained widespread fame in 1954 when it hosted the first nationally-televised U.S. Open Championship. Home to his shocking 1967 victory over Arnold Palmer, and his miraculous domination in the 1980 Open, Baltusrol holds a special place in the career of Jack Nicklaus, making this a must for the wall of any fan. For anyone who has played Baltusrol, or has admired it from afar, this print is perfect for the wall of home or office!
