Royal Troon Golf Club
This aerial panoramic photograph of Royal Troon Golf Club was taken by James Blakeway. Royal Troon Golf Club, situated on the west coast of Scotland, was formed in 1878 at a meeting of enthusiasts in Troon and quickly developed a reputation as a testing course. The Old Course, located in the foreground, is widely accepted as one of the most difficult courses in Scotland. With the wind and the deep rough interspersed with gorse and broom, accuracy is essential. The Portland Course, located in the distance, is a more sheltered par 71 course. The clubhouse is located at the far left of the panorama.

Amazing poster, featuring the home of seven historic British Open Championships, and some of the most difficult terrain in the golfing world! Perfect for the wall of anyone who has played Royal Troon, remembers superstars Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Mark Calcavecchia and Justin Leonard raising the Claret Jug, or has a dream of one day bringing the clubs over to Scotland. A truly spectacular piece for your wall!
