It was a pivotal moment in NFL history, and the birth of a San Francisco 49ers dynasty! Trailing late in the 1981 NFC Championship Game, Joe Montana worked his magic to drive the ball all the way to the Dallas Cowboys' six yard line. On third-and-three, it looked like the play was breaking down, as Montana was flushed out of the pocket toward the right sideline. Then, it happened. Montana double-pumped on the run, and lofted a high floater deep into the end zone. Only two people in Candlestick Park thought there was any chance at this ball being caught for a game-tying touchdown - Montana, and WR Dwight Clark, who both insist they worked on this play over and over in practice! Believe them or not, it happened - as Everson Walls, Michael Downs, and the rest of the Cowboys defense watched helplessly, Clark leaped high in the air, stretched as far as he could, came down with the ball, and landed with two feet just inside the line at the back of the end zone - TOUCHDOWN NINERS! After the extra point was kicked, Bill Walsh's men in red went on to glory in Super Bowl XVI, and the rest is history.

This amazing poster, published in poster size exclusively for SportsPosterWarehouse.com, features one of the few good photographic images of the moment captured on film. In living color, you get the sideline end zone view of the magical play, with the fans going nuts, the ref signalling TD, and Dwight about to unleash his classic spike of the ball, this is a beautiful piece of NFL history! Printed from the original photographic source, and complete with official NFL Properties serialized hologram, this is both a stunning piece for any fan, and a must for any true Niners fan! Add a piece of history to your decor.
