Surrounded by a sharp white border, the official Salt Lake 2002 logo, and the above titling and quote from games guru Romney, this poster gives you a breathtaking view of the closing ceremonies at Rice-Eccles Stadium as captured by photographer Paul Gilbert. The whole scene is before your eyes: the flag-raising podium, where the national banners of Greece (Athens 2004) and Italy (Torino 2006) joined the official flag of the Olympic movement; the bandstand, where Bon Jovi and Christina Aguilera were rocking out; the end zone grandstand filled with the athletes and crowned by the still-lit Olympic flame; and the brilliant fire-bathed landscape thrilling all with its beauty. This rare poster was never sold in stores; we were lucky enough to obtain a limited quantity of stock directly from the photographer, and are now offering it up on a first-come, first-served basis.
