This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, spotlights the Washington Capitals in Game 2, as they defeat the New York Rangers 1-0 in overtime, to take a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series. The Capitals held firm when they were a man down, then went on to make the winning goal in overtime. A razor-thin margin in the playoffs between these teams is typical, as five of their seven games in the last year's postseason were decided by one goal, including three games that went into overtime play. This is the third consecutive season that the Rangers have faced the Capitals in the playoffs, and the fourth time in the past five seasons.
