Texas Christian University - Amon G. Carter Stadium

This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, spotlights the TCU Horned Frogs playing at Amon G. Carter Stadium in a colossal, Top 10, Big 12 Conference showdown against Kansas State. Tradition runs deep in the Big 12, and TCU is no exception, where the horned frog has been TCU's mascot longer than TCU has been the University's name. Four students helped make the decision in 1897, when AddRan Christian University (renamed TCU in 1902) was located in Waco. Whether the horned frog was chosen due to the small, spiny lizard's prevalence on the football practice field, or because its feisty nature matched the tough frontier spirit shown by TCU itself, the TCU student athletes take pride in being called Horned Frogs.

Under the Saturday Night lights in Waco, in front of a national TV audience, in a sea of purple, watching the hometown boys win - it doesn't get any better than this! This spectacular, rare TCU Horned Frogs football print features the scene on November 8, 2014, as TCU scores yet another big touchdown. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of any student, alumnus, athlete, TCU fan, or College football lover! Note: this design is now out-of-print; limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
