For a decade, he was "the one who got away". After choosing power forward Doug Wickenheiser ahead of the flashy Quebecois superstar with the #1 overall pick in the 1980 NHL draft, Habs fans grew to despair over one of the worst managerial decisions in team history. The Canadiens, however, made amends to the fans in 1990, when they brought Denis Savard over from the Chicago Blackhawks to thrill fans at the Forum. While injuries and age limited his consistency, Savard did provide many classic moments during his three seasons in Montreal, including point-a-game performances in the 1991 and 1992 playoffs. With spectacular action photography, and a simple, classic "les Canadiens" design, this is both a work of art for your wall, and a rare, vintage collector's item for any Habs fan! Note: this poster is now out-of-print; limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
