THE BIG CHILL AT THE BIG HOUSE
This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the college ice hockey game between long-time rivals - the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. The match-up, known as "The Big Chill at the Big House," was held at Michigan Stadium on December 11, 2010. The event set a new world record for the largest crowd at an outdoor ice hockey game with attendance of 113,411. The past record set in May 2010, at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Championship game, was 77,803. This is the second outdoor ice hockey game to be played between the two storied programs. The first game, also a resounding success, occurred in 2001 and was referred to as the "Cold War."

Welcome to Michigan's main event of December 2010! This spectacular poster features a breathtaking view of the phenomenal "Big Chill", packing Michigan Stadium with hockey fans. From the temporary ice rink in the middle of the familiar football field below, to the massive crowd, to the scoreboards, video screens, and surrounding scenery, it's all here - the entire scene from the stadium, looking absolutely fantastic for your wall. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official game logo, the commemorative title, and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of anyone who wants to remember this legendary event!
