Bring your wall alive with a Cleveland Browns classic! This poster features artist Raymond A. Simon's 1999 work of art, "The First Play", celebrating the dawn of a new era in Cleveland football. It takes you to the gridiron of Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio on August 9, 1999, when the pre-season opened with the Hall of Fame Game pitting the new Browns franchise against the Dallas Cowboys. It took four bitter years after the betrayal, but the NFL was back in Cleveland!
Officially licensed by the National Football League, this local Cleveland-area publication was a classic of an era, produced for sale upon the re-launch of the Browns in 1999. Rarely seen since, we were lucky enough to purchase the remaining stock from an Ohio memorabilia dealer in 2019, and are making them available on a first-come, first-served basis.
