San Francisco 49ers - Candlestick Park - 1971-2013
This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, commemorates the San Francisco 49ers final touchdown at their very last regular season game against the Atlanta Falcons, marking the end of Candlestick Park's sporting history. Leaving the home crowd with a thrilling memory of the old stadium, in the final few minutes of the game the 49ers intercepted a pass deep in their own territory and returned it 89 yards for a touchdown, sealing the victory and clinching a playoff berth. The final score was San Francisco 34, Atlanta 24. The 49ers called Candlestick Park home from 1971-2013, recording a 225-121-2 combined record in the building.

Add a bittersweet piece of history to your wall! Whether you loved the place or are happy to see it go, you probably witnessed some of your most treasured football memories at that classic old multi-purpose stadium by the sea. This poster commemorates the end of the line for Candlestick, and the end of an era of Football in San Francisco (the team moved to a new park in nearby Santa Clara for the 2014 season). Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Whether you were there that evening, were watching on TV, or are simply a long-time fan of the 49ers for whom Candlestick Point will always hold a special place in your heart - this one's for you!
