New Hampshire International Speedway
This aerial panorama of New Hampshire Motor Speedway was taken by James Blakeway during a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. New England's largest sports facility in terms of seating capacity, the Speedway is also the site of the first sporting event in New England to draw over 100,000 fans in a single day. The track officially opened in 1990 with its first NASCAR Nationwide Series race in July of that year. The first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race was in July 1993. Today, the track hosts two annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. The facility includes a 1.058-mile oval superspeedway and a 12-turn, 1.6-mile road course.
Welcome to the racing paradise of New England! As the cars roar around the venerable oval course in Loudon, New Hampshire, just outside of the State Capital of Concord, this spectacular poster shows race day at the 2009 Lenox Industrial Tools 301 in all its breathtaking detail. From the vast infield packed with crews, cars, and greenery, to the banked turns of the track, to the massive jam-packed grandstand, to the surrounding lots and countryside, it's all here, looking great for your wall. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official track logo and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come! A must for any true NASCAR fan.
