Celebrating a legendary night in Seattle Mariners history! Take a step back in time to April 22, 1993, when the rapidly-improving Ken Griffey Jr.-led M's were learning how to become winners under the auspices of new manager Lou Piniella. With a like-minded bulldog, Chris Bosio, on the mound, the Mariners were looking for a second-straight big-time pitching performance, after Randy Johnson blanked the Red Sox on a four-hitter the night before. Witih the Kingdome crowds starting to get larger, and the excitement around the team starting to buzz, Bosio took the mound, and would not disappoint. With plenty of run support, and great pitch efficiency, Chris was just mowing them down. Andre Dawson, Mo Vaughn, John Valentin, Ivan Calderon, Mike Greenwell...none of them would reach base. And with just two walks issued to Ernie Riles and Carlos Quintana, it all came down to one final at-bat. With a simple groundout to shortstop Omar Vizquel, the improbable happened - a No-Hitter for BOSIOOOOOOOOO! This poster commemorates that magical night for eternity with amazing photography from the Seattle Times of the moment of elation from Bosio after recording the final out. Complete with commemorative titles, and the box score from the game, this one has it all, a commemoration for the ages. A rare 1990s Mariners poster that will sure to become a centerpiece of your wall and your collection. Don't miss out! Limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
