Here it is, folks - the one you've been waiting for! This is the holy grail of classic Nike running posters. Published in 1978, it is entitled "Battle of Atlanta", and features the amazing image from the lens of Atlanta-based photographer Chuck Rogers at the finish area of the 1978 Peachtree 10k, the blazing-hot 4th of July annual classic that has become one of the world's most important 10k races. Also known as the poster that appeared as a giant mural in Judd Nelson's hip loft apartment in the iconic 1985 film "St. Elmo's Fire". There's just so much to this poster - from the totally retro fashions, to the pure exhaustion exhibited by the runners, to the sun gloriously lighting up the mist of the cool-down water spray, this one has it all. Obtained as part of a closeout of vintage Nike posters purchased from a long-time Portland-area collector, this one has been preserved in nearly perfect condition for more than four decades now. These old Nike posters are incredibly rare and incredibly sought-after, and many of you have been searching for one of these to own literally for decades - don't miss out, just this one available!
