A rare all-time classic - perhaps you even had this one up on your wall when you were a kid! From the old NFL Stancraft Bartell Series that was originally sold by mail order through Sports Illustrated (and possibly in stores as well...we're not sure, we weren't around then...) this is a rare beauty is from the long-gone early-1970s era. With amazing artwork that celebrates the era of Greg Landry, Bill Munson, Charlie Sanders, Altie Taylor, Mel Farr, Lem Barney, Dick Jauron, Ed Flanagan, and the rest of the Tiger Stadium warriors of the generation, this fantastic poster will give your wall a perfect old-school look that simply can't be found anywhere else! This design was originally illustrated by George Bartell, one of the most iconic commercial artists of the era, whose style in many ways defined the early 1970s. This is one of the most hard-to-find Lions designs of the era, a truly unique rarity for your wall and your collection. Not only that, but you get the poster preserved in outstanding condition, never hung on a wall, and looking great as shown in the picture you see here - no pinholes, no tape marks, as good as the day it rolled off the presses decades ago. We know many of our customers have been looking for this one for years, but up until now, we have never had any available for sale. We finally obtained this one from a collectibles dealer out West, and are making it available to one lucky collector. ONLY ONE AVAILABLE, FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED!
