From Brett Horton's vast collection of vintage cycling posters and photography, this rare piece (original is worth thousands of dollars) features one of the earliest examples of a sponsored racer - France's legendary champion Andre Leducq, winner of the 1930 and 1932 Tour de France, and, as indicated here, #1 Frenchman in the 1927 Tour. With a breathtaking scene of Leducq taking on an endless Alpine climb, a vintage photographic image of Leducq in his prime, and the whimsical use of Thomann's happy elephants, this is both a historic work of vintage cycling art, and a beautiful piece for the wall of home or office!
