Detroit Lions
This panorama of the Detroit Lions NFL football team playing at Ford Field was photographed by James Blakeway. The team started in 1929 as the Portsmouth Spartans, joined the NFL in 1930 and became the Detroit Lions in 1934. The Lions played at the University of Detroit Stadium for four years and then moved to Briggs Stadium (later named Tiger Stadium) in 1938. In 1975, the Lions moved to the Pontiac Silverdome, where they played until moving to Ford Field in 2002. The Lions' history includes NFL Championships, several enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and one of America's best holiday traditions - Detroit's annual Thanksgiving Day Classic.

Step inside Detroit's glorious football palace! This spectacular poster features an absolutely breathtaking gameday panoramic view inside Ford Field, capturing a hometown touchdown moment. From the action on the field below, to the partisan crowd celebrating the moment, to the scoreboards and banners, to the unique building architecture, it's all here - the entire scene, looking absolutely fantastic for your wall. Printed in brilliant color and perfect focus on high-quality paper stock, and complete with a sharp white border that includes the official team and NFL logos, team title, and a brief descriptive paragraph, this is both a beauty for the wall of home or office, and a great collector's item for years to come. Perfect for the wall of any fan of the Lions, Detroit sports, and big-time NFL action! Note: this design is now out-of-print; limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
